Understanding the Financial Impact of Membership: How Your Support Enables Our Mission

Clean River Partners members and community,

We’re pleased to share with you that we finished last year strong! You’ve seen some of the impacts of our work in the January newsletter. Now, we want to share our financial position.

2023 Budget Performance Chart

The small surplus we ended the year with will be added to our modest operating reserves, ensuring our ability to manage cash flow and maintain day-to-day operations in the event of payment delays or unforeseen circumstances.

We want to emphasize the importance of your financial support towards our mission. In 2023, your support provided about 20% of our operating funds.

These dollars are critical for exploring new opportunities and partnerships, providing a safe and functional working environment for our staff, and being flexible and creative when working toward community building and behavior change. Thank you for filling this crucial need! It really is true when we say we can’t do this work without you!

2023 Income Chart

As we look forward to 2024, we would like to share our plans with you. Our aim for this year is to increase donations by 15%. We understand this is an ambitious goal, but we believe that it’s attainable if we work together. This increase in giving will help us fund ongoing projects and community outreach.

2024 Budgeted Income

We will keep you updated on our progress throughout the year. This year is full of promise and exciting opportunities, including the launch of our new Volunteer Corps program and a once-in-a-generation chance to work with farmers on lowering the carbon intensity of their agricultural practices. 2024 promises to be a time when we change our watershed together!
